Picture of N21385 in Hong Kong

The above picture was taken by Anthony Phipp on a trip to Hong Kong. It's history is not fully known by myself, therefore I ask for your help. It is a Cessna 337H Skymaster with a c/n of 01861 built about 1978. It was first registered N1369L before being sold to Venezuela as YV-1867P. According to JP Airline Fleets this aircraft was back in America as N4195R in 1984. The next bit of information I have on this aircraft is that the registration YV-1867P was cancelled on 20/03/9. The only other thing I know about this aircraft is that it eventually ended up in Hong Kong as VR-HTS before becoming its current registration of N21385. Can you fill in the gaps? Please send ANY info to [email protected]

Other CLT aircraft

Moynet 360

I came across this photo in a old Flight International magazine dated 19 August 1971. It's of a Moynet 360 of which only three were built. It, like the Skymaster, has Center Line Thrust. I thought it was interesting enough to add this photo of it on this site. Its registered F-BLKY.

Defiant

Mike Cardinale built this experimental aircraft and first flew it in 1986. It was registered N49MC

As you can see many of these photographs come from the files of Aircraft Shopper Online (ASO), www.sellaircraft.com, Wings-on-Line and Double Eagle Inc so as I have borrowed (!) their pictures then it is only right that I mention their aircraft sales services. All the aircraft above that have pictures from ASO, Wings-on-Line or Double Eagle Inc have either been sold by them or are still up for sale. Check out their sites for further details.

More photos will be added as and when I get some more.

I am always on the search for more photos of Skymasters both for my own collection of photo and for this site. If you have one that you are willing to let me have please email me at [email protected]. Any photo submitted will not be put on this site unless I have your permission to do so.
